Surrey sign Andrew Symonds!!!

As I called for here and here, Surrey have heeded my wise words and signed a genuine matchwinner for the T20 Cup in Andrew Symonds. Fair play to Mackay and Adams, they've obviously been working on this, and what a result.

If Chawla is available and the BCCI don't throw that particular toy out of the pram, a T20 side with him, Symonds, Nel, Ramps, Afzaal and Rory H-B in it could give us a bit more to cheer about than we've had in the past. Excellent news!

Finally! A genuine big hitting, matchwinner.
Better than we ever had in previous years...

What we are so sorely lacking is big hitters, and hitters don't come much bigger than Symonds! All hope is not lost for the T20 Cup just yet! We'll have to go some to combat Middlesex's top order of Warner, Gilchrist, Shah, Morgan and Malan though!!

I guess you'll be following DC matches closely then, Roy hasn't been at his best so far...

I will indeed, his strike rate is curiously low, but then Deccan have been pretty average all round really.

There you go, he just found form and won a match - some comeback from DC!

Yeah not a bad knock, 53 off 24 - few more of them for Surrey and he'll more than justify his undoubtedly massive pay packet! Picked up a wicket too, good stuff!
